Hey guys i ve owned probably 5 or 6 ropes since i started climbing.
Non dry vs dry rope.
This rope is the ultimate one size fits all option to have in your quiver.
If you will be ice climbing mountaineering or multi pitch trad climbing you will encounter rain snow or ice at some point so choose a dry treated rope.
All different brands some i ve loved some i woudn t buy again.
These king of ropes are suitable for indoor climbing and sports.
It absorbs the maximum water and even gets heavier.

I ve personally found dry ropes handle slightly better but ropes are ropes and as long as its dynamic it ll do the job.

If you don t climb in wet weather or sandy areas buying an untreated rope is good way to save money.
If you primarily sport climb a non dry rope is probably sufficient since most sport climbers will pull their ropes and go home when it rains.
