This album contains the original 1993 mix plus all of the b sides and demos. On the deluxe edition cd you also get a 2013 remix of the album also mixed by steve albini. All 3 lps are pressed on 180 gram heavy weight vinyl. After the disappointment that was the 20th anniversary of nevermind poor loudness war mastering being a big complaint of many it is a relief and a delight to report that the 20th anniversary edition of in utero is great.

The unadorned sonic rawness of steve albini s recording laid bare every primal nuance of the most confrontational yet vulnerable material kurt cobain krist novoselic and dave grohl would ever record.
